We cannot achieve our goals alone. The following frameworks challenge, inspire and help us in our journey.
Our yearly CSR report follows the GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) reporting standard.
We focus on the goals where we can have the most impact, while screening and implementing actions that contribute to the other goals as well.
We signed the Global Commitment in 2019 and share the vision of a circular economy for plastic in which it never becomes waste.
Growing our positive impact as a business, using the B Corp framework, is the logical next step to position Spadel’s leadership in sustainability.
Spadel wants to be a certified leader in sustainable water management. We apply the leading Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) standard.
Our carbon reduction targets are aligned to the Paris agreement of keeping global warming below 1.5 degrees C.
Our CSR Steering committee meets 4 times per year. It is led by a member of the Executive Committee and assisted by an external sounding board.
Spadel has long championed ambitious climate actions. The first protection area around the springs of Spa dates back to 1889. Sustainability is now an integral part of our business strategy with leading commitments and targets. Find out more about some of our main achievements in this video with our CEO Marc du Bois.
Following the GRI reporting framework, we report on an annual basis on the progress of our KPI’s and actions.
